ARM CEO/Lead Chaplain Job Summary
Ambassadors of Reconciliation Ministries is looking for a
Chief Executive Officer/Lead Chaplain to administer its Ministry to Inmates at the Butte County Jail
CEO/Chaplain Job summary- The ARM CEO/Chaplain shall have responsibility to:
1. Conduct the administrative, legal, record-keeping, social media and financial business of ARM.
2. Supervise Bookkeeper, ARM Women’s Chaplain and several volunteer inmate visitors.
3. Serve as main contact between the ARM board and the daily running of the ministry.
4. Visit Butte County pastors, churches, community organizations and individual donors to raise
friends/funds, recruit volunteers and board members, and advocate for inmates’ needs.
5. Initiate and maintain relationships with male inmates at the Butte County Jail.
6. Assist, supply and participate in the Butte County Jail Thursday Evening Ministry however possible.
7. Lead the vision-casting and strategic planning for inmate ministry in Butte County.
8. Raise support for his salary (full or part-time), ministry expenses, and for general expenses of ARM
literature and administration.
Compensation Package
9. Hours are negotiable.
10. Salary is negotiable, dependent upon qualifications and hours needed. Salary level is set by the board of directors,
but actual salary available to be paid is conditional on funds raised and adequate reserve established.
11. Medical Expense reimbursement up to IRS annual limit (2024 = $5,850/single, $11,800/family).
12. Mileage and Ministry Expense reimbursed monthly upon reporting of receipts to ARM Treasurer.
13. Professional Development funds available for books/conferences for job-related training and growth
