Our History
ARM was established in 2012 under the auspices of Chaplain Ian Carlisle. Like most of us who continue to minister to those in the jail, Ian found God working in the Butte County Jail and answered the call. His passion for the inmates and their new lives with Christ presented many avenues of reconciliation between man and God, thus our name (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Ian is now retired and serves as a consultant to us.

Our Financial Needs
In the attempt to meet the needs of the inmates at the Butte County Jail, ARM incurs many challenges - from scheduling, to screening books and people, to tracking people and money. ARM does it right. ARM is a 501c3 and has abided by all state and federal non-profit rules since 2012. All our efforts and finances are overseen by a local CPA and experienced board members who oversee ARM. All of this management of ministers, books, materials, and money requires active local missionaries dedicated to the mission of ARM "To lead inmates to Christ and help them live for Him." Without the support of these missionaries (currently our male and female chaplain) ARM would not exist.
ARM is going through a transition in leadership which has created many challenges and none greater than finances. Although we are concerned about our ability to continue to provide for those in the jail, we expect God to bring us through this challenging time. Your financial support will be GREATLY appreciated.
If you would like to give financially, here are the two ways to do it.
2. Zelle - Add us (Ambassadors of Reconciliation Ministries) to your Zelle recipients from within your bank app or online account using our email address here
[email protected]
No matter how you choose to give, if it is your first time giving we ask you to give us your address (snail and email) so we can mail you a tax deductible receipt.
Zelle is the quickest and easiest way to transfer funds. It is also completely free to all parties. It also provides an electronic paper trail to both parties. You can also set up automatic payments for either Zelle or Bill Pay in most banks.
If you want to test the Zelle system, you are welcome to send $1 first, then you can confirm we got your donation by texting Chaplain Ron at 530-six36-zero734. Zelle transactions are done within seconds and can be confirmed very quickly. Doing it this way saves time for both parties and eliminates the risks checks pose.

Our Spiritual Needs - Prayer
📖 Matthew 7:7-8 – “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
Prayers are often underrated. We believe this verse above. We believe God answers prayer. Thank you for offering them up to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on our behalf. Let us know you prayed for us so we can expect God's response.
